This featured project — a multipurpose hall designed and built for the Aeta community of Bataan — embodies the spirit of community-centered design and inclusive development.

This isn’t just about constructing a building. It’s about creating a space that uplifts lives, protects cultural heritage, and strengthens social bonds. More than a structure, Bahay para sa Bayan serves as a hub for learning, gatherings, and resilience — thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of the community it serves.

It’s a reminder that true architectural excellence lies not only in form and function, but in the lasting impact it creates — one that empowers communities, respects identity, and inspires future generations.

As Filipino architects working overseas, we remain connected to the roots of our profession—building with purpose, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. The United Architects of the Philippines – Singapore Chapter (UAP-SG) in collaboration with UAP Bataan Peninsulares Chapter and UAP Balanga Bataan Chapter launches this design competition as a direct response to the real needs of the Aeta community in Bataan, who seek a resilient, inclusive, and culturally relevant Multi-Purpose Hall.📌

UAP Members and Fellow Architects,
We are excited to invite you to join the UAPs Virtual Run 2025, a fitness and community event that combines wellness, camaraderie, and purpose!

Event Duration:(3rd to 30th  Nov 2025)
💻 Format: Virtual (run anytime, anywhere)
 🎯 Goal: Support the Aeta Multipurpose Hall Project through your participation
📍 Beneficiary: Multi-Purpose Hall Project for the Aeta Community, Hermosa, Bataan

How It Works:
1. Eligibility:
Open to all registered architects and UAP members.

2. Registration:
Register before 31 October 2025  through our official link 👉

3. Join the Strava Group:
After registering, you’ll be added to the official Strava group — all your runs and walks will sync automatically!

4. Join the VR Whatsaap GC:
Stay connected! All participants will be added to the official group chat for updates and camaraderie.

5. Start Running (or Walking!):
Log your mileage using Strava. For best results, use a device with a heart rate monitor for accurate tracking.

6. Weekly Updates:
Check your progress! Mileage standings and leaderboards will be posted weekly in the Messenger GC.
